New OFA Policy ( Prelims)
Since I asked about OFA publishing preliminary results
on their website a week or two ago, and the answer was "No" they don't publish prelims, I thought I would share this news: http://www.offa.org/prelimpolicy.html "In an effort to encourage open sharing of health test results, beginning January 2004, the OFA will publish preliminary (under 24 months) hip and elbow results on the OFA website IF the owner has initialed the authorization block to release all results (including abnormal results). Previously, preliminary results were not published to the website. This policy change is effective for all preliminary applications received after 1/1/04. " Unfortunately, I think we missed the deadline by just a day or two. Shelly (100% behind Open health registries) & The Boys -- http://www.geocities.com/shellybrosnan/BSD.html |

I was told to post that rule change just this week and I immediatly thought of the thread. Shelly, I think you can do retroactive if you want. Want me to find out? |

I was just going to wait until I get my paperwork in the mail. Honestly, I want them posted regardless of the outcome. But, I was thinking that maybe there will be something in w/ the form to retroactivate it. Today I printed out the form to Open previously closed registries, but I don't think that would really apply in this situation. If you don't mind, I'd love to know! Thanks Robin! Shelly & The Boys |
